Maserati Grecale Folgore Launched At ₹1.89 Crore - 550hp & 500km Range
Italian luxury carmaker Maserati has launched the Grecale Folgore, its first all-electric SUV, in India at ₹1.89 crore (ex-showroom). The MY 2026 Maserati Grecale Folgore joins the petrol-powered Grecale range, which starts from ₹1.31 crore. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2026.
The Maserati Grecale Folgore is powered by a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup that pushes out 550hp and 820Nm of peak torque. Maserati claims a 0-100 km/h time of 4.1 seconds for the Grecale Folgore and a top speed of 220 km/h.

The dual-motor setup of the Grecale Folgore is supported by a 105 kWh lithium-ion battery pack operating on a 400V electrical architecture. Maserati claims a range of up to 500 km (WLTP) on a full charge.
The Grecale Folgore's Charging performance is also notable - when connected to a 150 kW DC fast charger, the battery pack can be replenished from 20 to 80 per cent in 29 minutes. The Grecale Folgore also supports 22 kW AC charging via its onboard charger for home or office setups.

Built on a modified version of the Giorgio platform, shared with the petrol-powered Grecale, the electric Folgore retains the familiar proportions of the ICE model while adopting aerodynamic enhancements for improved efficiency.
Maserati states that the Grecale Folgore's battery pack has been integrated into the floor structure to optimise balance and lower the centre of gravity without compromising cabin space.

The Grecale Folgore features air suspension with adaptive damping, providing adjustable ride height and comfort modes suited to both city and long-distance driving. Safety technology includes ADAS Level 2 driver assistance, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and a 360-degree camera system.
Design elements of the Maserati Grecale Folgore include a closed-off grille, copper-accented Folgore badging, optional 21-inch forged alloy wheels, air-flow management ducts and a reprofiled rear diffuser.

Inside, the Grecale Folgore features dual 12.3-inch digital displays, a 14-way adjustable front seating setup, ambient lighting, and extensive use of recycled materials for the upholstery. The infotainment display is powered by the Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA) interface and supports wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
With the Folgore, Maserati aims to compete with premium electric SUVs such as the BMW iX, Audi Q8 e-tron, Mercedes EQE SUV, and Jaguar I-Pace, offering performance-driven luxury in the all-electric space. The launch marks the brand's intent to electrify its lineup by 2030, with the Grecale Folgore serving as the entry point into Maserati's electric future.
