Maserati Unveils New 483-HP GranCabrio And Exclusive Trofeo ONE Of ONE At The I.C.E. St Moritz
The Maserati GranCabrio range took centre stage at The I.C.E. St Moritz event on February 21, 2025. The highlight was the introduction of the new 483-HP version, which is also available in the GranTurismo lineup. This engine blends the performance and comfort of a coupé with the thrill of open-air driving.
At this event, Maserati also showcased the unique GranCabrio Trofeo ONE of ONE – THE I.C.E., crafted under the Maserati Fuoriserie Customization Program. This exclusive model embodies Italian luxury and winter charm, featuring a bespoke Ice Liquid tri-coat paint that reflects its frozen lake setting debut.
The GranCabrio offers an extensive range, including a TWIN TURBO combustion engine with 483 HP, a 542 HP Trofeo version, and a fully electric Folgore powertrain. The model displayed at The I.C.E. featured Verde Giada body colour, black brake callipers, and wheels with Crio diamond-cut gloss black design.
The interior boasts ice-coloured perforated full-grain leather with the Maserati Trident logo on the headrest. It includes a Sonus faber high premium sound system with 19 speakers, 3D carbon-fibre finishes, and adaptive full LED headlights with a dark finish.
This GranCabrio version is designed for pure performance with refined details like a retractable soft top for an open-air experience. It accommodates four seats comfortably for long journeys. The 483 HP V6 Nettuno Twin Turbo engine allows speeds up to 186 mph and accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in four seconds.
Both the Trofeo and 483 HP versions come standard with all-wheel drive (AWD) and air suspension, ensuring top performance without sacrificing comfort in true "granturismo" style.
Maserati's Customer-Centric Approach
Maserati prioritises customer preferences in its decision-making process. The GranCabrio range exemplifies this focus by offering an expanded colour palette featuring elegant hues like Verde Giada. For sportier customers, orders will open in March through official dealers for new Sports Exhausts that enhance the iconic Maserati sound.
The I.C.E. Event Highlights
The I.C.E., set against snowy landscapes, combines culture, entertainment, and extreme driving conditions. It's an essential event for car enthusiasts and collectors. Maserati showcased its range here, highlighting Italian grand touring spirit and Trident's performance on snowy roads and icy tracks.
The Grecale SUV roamed St. Moritz streets while MCXtrema and new Maserati GT2 Stradale models displayed racing DNA. Vintage cars like Maserati 6CM and Maserati 200 SI participated in the International Concours of Elegance.
Maserati's Global Presence
Maserati produces distinctive cars known for their style, technology, and exclusivity across over 70 markets worldwide. Their lineup includes Grecale SUV, iconic GranTurismo tourer, new GranCabrio convertible—all using high-quality materials and technical solutions.
The range features hybrid powertrains for Grecale and V6 petrol engines with rear or four-wheel drive embodying Trident's performance DNA. The MC20 super sports car uses a Nettuno V6 engine incorporating F1 technologies into standard production cars for the first time.
Innovative Models
GranTurismo offers both high-performance V6 petrol engines derived from Nettuno and a fully electric version: GranTurismo Folgore—the first Modena-based brand car to adopt this solution. The electric range includes Grecale Folgore SUV and GranCabrio Folgore.
Maserati's latest addition is GT2 Stradale—a road-legal version of GT2 returning Maserati to closed-wheel championships' tracks powered by V6 Nettuno engine reaching 640 hp (471 kW). It's their most powerful road-going internal combustion engine model yet.
Maserati aims to shape luxury mobility's future by focusing on customer needs aligned with Stellantis' "Dare Forward 2030" strategic plan—taking Italian luxury globally.
