Maserati is set to captivate audiences at Lake Como from 24 to 25 May 2025 with its GT2 Stradale and MCXtrema models. This marks Maserati's debut at the FuoriConcorso, an esteemed automotive gathering held annually since 2019 at Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota. The event draws thousands of collectors, experts, and car enthusiasts, showcasing a unique array of customised, rare, and prototype vehicles.
The theme for this year's FuoriConcorso is "Velocissimo – Italian Race Cars," celebrating iconic racing vehicles that have shaped motorsport history. Maserati's GT2 Stradale and MCXtrema perfectly embody this theme. These models reflect the brand's commitment to performance and elegance, aligning seamlessly with the event's focus on automotive creativity and history.
The GT2 Stradale, displayed in the sophisticated "Bianco Audace" livery by Officine Fuoriserie Maserati, represents a blend of track prowess and everyday usability. As a road-legal version of the GT2, it combines Maserati's racing spirit with comfort for daily driving. With a V6 Nettuno engine producing 640 CV, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds.
In contrast, the MCXtrema showcases its power in a striking "Blu Extrema" livery. Designed for collectors and track enthusiasts, this model is not road-approved but offers unparalleled excitement on the circuit. Limited to only 62 units, it features a formidable 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine delivering an impressive 740 CV.
Maserati produces a diverse range of cars known for their distinctive character and style. Their lineup includes models like the Grecale SUV, GranTurismo grand tourer, and GranCabrio convertible. These vehicles are equipped with advanced technology and high-quality materials, catering to discerning tastes worldwide across more than 70 markets.
The brand's offerings include hybrid powertrains for models like the Grecale and powerful V6 petrol engines for others. The MC20 super sports car stands out with its innovative Nettuno V6 engine incorporating F1-derived technologies into standard production cars for the first time.
Innovation in Electric Mobility
Maserati is also pioneering electric mobility with models like the GranTurismo Folgore and Grecale Folgore SUVs. These fully electric vehicles mark significant milestones in Maserati's history as they embrace sustainable solutions while maintaining performance excellence.
The latest addition to Maserati's lineup is the GT2 Stradale, which brings racing pedigree back to closed-wheel championships. Its V6 Nettuno engine makes it the most powerful road-going Maserati with an internal combustion engine.
By participating in FuoriConcorso 2025, Maserati showcases its dedication to luxury innovation and passion for driving amidst artful surroundings where beauty meets engineering excellence.
