Maserati Unveils MC20 Cielo And Grecale SUV At CES 2025, Showcasing Italian Innovation And Technology
Maserati has revealed its collaboration with Politecnico di Milano, ANFIA, and Sonus faber at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. The event, from January 7-10, will showcase the MC20 Cielo and Grecale SUV. This partnership highlights Maserati's commitment to innovation and technology, featuring an AI driver developed by Politecnico di Milano as part of the AIDA project.
The AIDA project, led by Politecnico di Milano and MOST, aims to test autonomous driving on public roads. It focuses on creating reliable technology for safe and efficient real-world performance. This initiative marks the second collaboration between Maserati and Politecnico di Milano after their previous success with an AI-driven MC20 Coupe.
At CES 2025, the record-setting MC20 Coupe will serve as the official Safety Car for the Autonomous Challenge at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on January 9. Meanwhile, its successor, the MC20 Cielo, will be displayed at the Italian Trade Agency booth in the Las Vegas Convention Center. This exhibit is a joint effort with Politecnico di Milano.
Maserati's audio partner Sonus faber will also be present at CES. They will showcase new products and immersive sound experiences at their booth near T-Mobile Arena on January 7th and 8th. Visitors can enjoy dynamic chauffeured test drives of two flagship Maserati Grecale SUVs equipped with Sonus faber's premium sound systems.
The Maserati Grecale comes standard with a Sonus faber Premium Sound System featuring 14 speakers. An optional upgrade offers a High Premium Sound System with 21 speakers for exceptional audio quality. This system has been recognised as The Best In-Car Sound System by EISA for both 2022 and 2023.
The MC20 and MC20 Cielo continue to impress with their Formula One-derived Nettuno engine technology and unique design elements like butterfly doors. The MC20 Cielo also features an electrochromic retractable roof, showcasing Maserati's commitment to innovation.
