Maserati Showcases Heritage And Innovation At The 2025 Mille Miglia Event

The 40th historical re-enactment of the 1000 Miglia, a prestigious race for classic cars, has commenced. Maserati is participating with its A6 GCS/53 model, celebrating the Year of Trident. This event highlights Maserati's legacy, featuring both iconic past models and current vehicles like the GranCabrio 490, GranTurismo Trofeo, and Grecale Trofeo. These support cars are adorned with special liveries to honour the centenary of the Maserati logo.

In 1926, the Maserati Tipo 26 made history by winning its class at the Targa Florio with Alfieri Maserati driving. This marked the beginning of Maserati's racing journey. The current event will see over 400 classic cars from 29 countries covering a 1,900-km route inspired by early editions of the race. Among these is a privately owned Maserati A6 GCS, renowned for its frequent participation in past races.

This initiative explores future mobility solutions focusing on electric and shared transport.

Maserati's current lineup includes models like the Grecale SUV, GranTurismo grand tourer, and GranCabrio convertible. These vehicles are known for their high-quality materials and technical excellence. They feature hybrid powertrains and V6 petrol engines embodying Maserati's performance DNA.

Future Prospects

The MC20 super sports car and MC20 Cielo spyder are powered by the Nettuno V6 engine incorporating F1-derived technologies. The GranTurismo offers both V6 petrol and electric versions, marking a significant step in Maserati's history towards electrification with models like Grecale Folgore SUV.
