The XL6 is offered with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque coneter automatic gearbox.

DriveSpark Thinks

The introduction of 6 airbags in the Maruti XL6 Suzuki is an expected update as the nation's largest carmaker continues on its way to making this a standard offering across its lineup. Previously, the XL6 came equipped with 4 airbags, including dual front and front side airbags. The addition of curtain airbags to the XL6 enhances the safety offered by the MPV, ensuring better protection for passengers in case of acrash.

The significance of this update cannot be understated, especially considering the vehicle's size and its use as a family MPV. THe XL6 had arnered a 3-star safety rating from Global NCAP. With the inclusion of extra airbags, its safety performance is expected to see further improvements.

The fact that Maruti Suzuki has decided to keep the price hike to a minimal amount will ensure that those looking at a premium MPV at a VFM price will still flock to the XL6.
