Maruti Suzuki Victoris Unveiled: Level 2 ADAS, 5-Star Safety Rating, Hybrid & CNG Powertrains

India's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki, has unveiled the Victoris, its new flagship SUV for its Arena lineup. The new Maruti Suzuki Victoris is positioned between the Brezza and Grand Vitaraand it lines up against the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Tata Curvv, and Volkswagen Taigun and is available to book for a token amount of ₹11,000.

The design of the Maruti Suzuki Victoris blends the Grand Vitara with some unique cues and a bit more ruggedness. The Victoris features sleek LED headlamps connected to the Suzuki badge at the centre of the slimline grille by a slim chrome strip. It also gets connected LED tail-lamps, chunky wheelarches hosting some rather snazzy 17-inch alloy wheels a blacked-out roof for dual-tone versions.

Inside, the Victoris comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system offering wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The infotainment screen is paired with an 8-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos surround sound. The Victoris also features a fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster, a first for any Maruti, along with , dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting with 64 colours.

The new Maruti Victoris SUV is the first car from the firm's Arena channel to offer Level-2 ADAS. The system bundles lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and emergency braking.

In addition to the Level 2 ADAS setup, the Victoris gets six airbags as standard on every variant. The new Victoris also gets a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, and hill-hold assist among others..The Victoris was awarded a five-star safety rating by Bharat NCAP.

Engine options include a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol producing 103 bhp and 137 Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. A 1.5-litre strong-hybrid with e-CVT claims a mileage of 28.65 km/l. Maruti also brings a CNG option to Victoris. It uses the same 1.5-litre petrol engine tuned for CNG (lower power but 27.02 km/kg mileage), with an underfloor tank design that preserves boot space. Higher trims of the mild-hybrid petrol are also offered with the firm's Suzuki All-Grip all-wheel-drive setup.

The Victoris is offered with 10 colour options - Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Eternal Blue, Sizzling Red, Bluish Black, Magma Grey, Mystic Green, Splendid Silver with Black Roof, Sizzling Red with Black Roof, and Eternal Blue with Black Roof

Maruti will sell the Victoris exclusively through Arena dealerships. With over 3,000 outlets across India, availability extends deeper than Nexa's network, ensuring the SUV reaches both metro buyers and customers in smaller towns at launch as it looks to take o the supremacy of the Hyundai Creta.
