Maruti Suzuki Victoris: LXi Vs VXi, Which Trim Offers Most Value For Money?
Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for a major shake-up in the compact SUV segment with the launch of its all-new Victoris SUV. For the first time ever, the brand is introducing ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) in its Indian lineup, along with innovations in CNG and hybrid technology.
That said, the majority of sales for the Victoris will come from lower trims such as LXi and VXi. As such, here is a comparison between the LXi and VXi trims of Victoris SUV.

Price Comparison
The Maruti Suzuki Victoris LXi variant with Petrol engine and a manual transmission is priced at Rs 10,49,900, whereas the VXi Petrol MT variant is priced at Rs 11,79,900, making it Rs 1,30,000 more expensive than the LXi trim. This price gap could play a decisive role for potential buyers - especially since both variants share many key features.
Exterior Differences
The LXi trim is surprisingly well-equipped for an entry-level variant. It comes with request sensors on both sides, halogen projector headlamps, LED tail lights and indicators, and 17-inch steel wheels with 215-section tyres. The SUV also features a shark-fin antenna and side indicators on ORVMs, giving it a modern stance.
Visually, the VXi doesn't differ drastically. Both share the same fascia, chrome touches, and silver skid plates. The primary visual differences lie in the painted ORVMs and door handles, roof rails, and connected LED tail lamps- all exclusive to the VXi.
That said, both trims lack fog lamps, and alloy wheels are absent, keeping the design simple and uniform across these lower variants.
Interior & Features
Inside, the LXi and VXi trims continue to share an impressive list of common features that enhance comfort and convenience. Both variants are equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, steering-mounted controls, push-button start, and keyless entry.
Additionally, they both offer power windows on all doors, front and rear armrests, manual dimming IRVM, 5 adjustable headrests, roof-mounted lights for the second row, and comprehensive safety features, including 6 airbags and three-point seatbelts for all passengers.
While the LXi covers most essentials, the VXi adds a handful of comfort and convenience enhancements. These include chrome door handles, vanity mirrors, two tweeters, cruise control, an illuminated glovebox, boot light with a 12V socket, rear parcel tray, height-adjustable driver's seat, electrically folding ORVMs, reverse camera, and rear USB Type-C ports.
However, these additional features, though convenient, don't drastically alter the ownership experience. Many of them can be retrofitted to the LXi, making the base variant an even stronger value pick.
DriveSpark Thinks
The LXi trim emerges as the most value-for-money choice in the Victoris lineup, offering a near-complete package at a significantly lower price. It's perfect for those who prefer a manual transmission and prioritize essentials over luxuries.
That said, the VXi trim offers greater powertrain flexibility - available with NA Petrol MT, NA Petrol AT, NA Petrol CNG MT, and even a Strong Hybrid eCVT option. This makes it ideal for buyers seeking more drivetrain choices or automatic convenience.
Ultimately, the Victoris LXi dominates on affordability and practicality, while the VXi caters to those looking for added comfort and hybrid tech within reach.
