Exterior & Interior Features
The Victoris makes a strong impression with its stylish exterior and premium features. The SUV sports LED headlamps and tail-lamps, integrated LED fog lights, 17-inch alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof on the higher trims. Inside, the cabin feels modern and well-equipped.
A 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay takes centre stage, complemented by a 10.25-inch fully digital driver's display. Higher variants also get a Dolby Atmos-enabled eight-speaker sound system, front ventilated seats, ambient lighting and a wireless charging pad.
Safety & Technology
In a first for Maruti, the Victoris is equipped with a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), offering adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and other active safety aids.
Six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, a 360-degree camera and a tyre pressure monitoring system further bolster its safety credentials. The Victoris has also secured a full 5-star rating in both Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP crash tests, making it one of the safest models in its class.
Powertrains & Efficiency
The Victoris shares its engine lineup with the Grand Vitara, offering three powertrain options. The 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol delivers 103hp and can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Higher-spec mild-hybrid automatics are available with an all-wheel-drive system for added versatility. A 1.5-litre strong hybrid version with an e-CVT produces 116hp and delivers an impressive 28.56kpl. For cost-conscious buyers, the 1.5-litre CNG variant offers 27.02km/kg.
Subscription Plan & Market Impact
Maruti has also rolled out a subscription plan for the Victoris, starting at Rs 27,707 per month. This plan covers registration, insurance, maintenance and roadside assistance, making ownership hassle-free for urban buyers. With its comprehensive features, hybrid technology, strong safety record and competitive pricing, the Victoris is set to strengthen Maruti's hold in the midsize SUV segment and appeal to a wide spectrum of Indian car buyers.
DriveSpark Thinks
The Victoris enters one of the most competitive segments in the Indian automotive market. Positioned as a premium alternative to the Brezza, it aims to lure buyers who may also be considering the Grand Vitara but at a slightly lower price point.
Its main rivals include the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor and Honda Elevate. With the addition of hybrid and CNG options, Maruti hopes to attract both value-conscious and eco-minded buyers looking for fuel-efficient alternatives.
