Currently, the most budget-friendly Maruti car featuring six airbags is the Alto K10. This trend of adding safety features has led to adjustments in vehicle pricing. Higher-end versions of the Fronx and Baleno, which already include side and curtain airbags, may not see a price increase, though their base models are expected to become more expensive.
The starting price for the Fronx is Rs 7.55 lakh, with the Baleno beginning at Rs 6.70 lakh. Similar price adjustments are anticipated for the Ertiga, XL6, Ignis, and S-Presso, mirroring the price hike seen in other Maruti models like the Celerio, which saw an increase of up to Rs 32,500.
