Maruti Suzuki Records Highest-Ever Monthly Sales in October 2025 - Over 2.2 Lakh Vehicles Sold
India's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki reported a record monthly dispatch of 220,894 units in October 2025, comprising 180,675 domestic units, 31,304 exports and 8,915 units supplied to other OEMs. Total October volumes rose 7.0 per cent year-on-year versus October 2024.
Domestic passenger vehicle wholesales for October stood at 176,318 units, up 10.5 per cent year-on-year from 159,591 a year earlier. Year-to-date (April-October) domestic passenger vehicle wholesales total 971,764 units, down 3.2 per cent versus 1,004,205 in the prior year period.

The Mini segment (Alto, S-Presso) recorded 9,067 units in October, down 15.1 per cent YoY from 10,687. For April-October the mini segment fell to 49,472 units, down 31.8 per cent versus 72,474 in the same period last year.
The Compact segment (Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, WagonR) delivered 76,143 units in October, up 15.5 per cent YoY from 65,948. April-October compact volumes were 445,559 units, a 3.1 per cent rise from 432,369 year-earlier.
Utility Vehicles (Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, Victoris, XL6) posted 77,571 units in October, up 9.8 per cent YoY from 70,644. For April-October utility vehicle volumes were 394,950 units, down 4.7 per cent compared with 414,309 previously.
Vans (Eeco) sold 13,537 units in October, a 16.2 per cent YoY increase from 11,653. The April-October van tally stood at 79,803 units, a marginal decline of 0.6 per cent from 80,253 in FY2024-25.
Light commercial vehicles (Super Carry) accounted for 4,357 units in October, up 23.1 per cent YoY from 3,539 sold in October 2024. The Super Carry posted 21,324 units April-October, a 6.8 per cent rise versus 19,970 for the same period last year.
Sales to other OEMs (Toyota) stood at 8,915 units in October, down 12.0 per cent YoY from 10,136 from the same period last year. Year-to-date OEM supplies total 67,778 units, up 5.5 per cent from 64,233 units in FY2024-25.
Export shipments stood at 31,304 units in October, down 5.6 per cent YoY from 33,168. April-October exports rose to 238,763 units, an increase of 31.6 per cent over the 181,444 units exported in the prior year period.
Total domestic volumes including LCV and OEM supplies, were 189,590 units in October, up 9.4 per cent YoY from 173,266. For April-October total domestic volumes were 1,060,866 units, down 2.5 per cent compared with 1,088,408 sold in the same period last year.
Overall cumulative volumes for April-October FY2025-26 stand at 1,299,629 units, up 2.4 per cent year-on-year from the 1,269,852 units sold in the same period in FY2024-25.
