Maruti Suzuki Sales Slump In June 2025
In June 2025, Maruti Suzuki remained the sole car manufacturer in India to surpass one lakh unit sales. Despite this achievement, the company experienced a decline in its market share, dropping from 40.4% in June 2024 to 37.4%. This decrease was accompanied by a 13% year-on-year and month-on-month reduction in wholesales.
Maruti Dzire emerged as the top-selling model for the company last month. It recorded a 15% increase in year-on-year sales, reaching 15,484 units compared to 13,421 units previously. However, its month-on-month sales fell by 14%, down from 18,084 units sold in May 2025.
