The Maruti Suzuki Invicto has achieved a 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP (BNCAP) crash assessments, marking an important milestone for the brand in India's evolving vehicle safety landscape. The certification applies to the ALPHA+ 7-seater, ZETA+ 8-seater, and ZETA+ 7-seater variants.

These results are based on a structured assessment of the SUV's performance in frontal offset impact, side impact, and pedestrian protection tests, demonstrating the model's strong crashworthiness in line with regulated Indian safety norms.

One of the key highlights of the Invicto is its standardised approach to safety across the tested models. All variants come equipped with six airbags, covering the front, side, and curtain positions, along with electronic stability programme (ESP) and Hill Hold Assist.

Other features such as all-disc brakes, ABS with EBD, electronic parking brake with auto hold, a tyre pressure monitoring system, Suzuki Connect with e-Call, and a 360-degree view camera with dynamic guidelines are part of the standard package.

The driver's seat offers extensive protection with frontal, side chest, side pelvis, and curtain airbags, along with a belt pretensioner, load limiter, and seat belt reminder compliant with AIS-145 regulations. However, a knee airbag is not included. On the passenger side, similar levels of protection are provided, including frontal and side airbags, curtain airbags, and a manual cut-off switch for the airbag.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto Rear

Rear passengers are safeguarded with curtain airbags and ISOFIX anchorage points on outboard seats, though integrated child restraint systems are absent and rear seatbelt pretensioners with load limiters are not offered. Nonetheless, seat belt reminders are standard for all occupants.

Beyond occupant protection, the Invicto also incorporates a range of safety assist technologies. These include pedestrian protection systems, electronic stability control, side head protection systems, and comprehensive seat belt reminders.
