5 Things You Must Know About The New Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG
The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG has been reintroduced with new features, including six airbags as standard. Prices start at Rs 13.48 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV was temporarily unavailable when the 2025 update was launched in April. The Grand Vitara CNG is available in Delta and Zeta trims and now includes several enhancements.
Grand Vitara CNG Pricing
The Grand Vitara CNG variants cost Rs 95,000 more than their petrol counterparts. The Delta trim is priced at Rs 13.48 lakh, while the Zeta trim costs Rs 15.62 lakh. Previously, the Delta and Zeta variants were priced at Rs 13.15 lakh and Rs 14.96 lakh, respectively.

Grand Vitara CNG Gets New Features
With the latest update, some high-end features have become more accessible on lower trims. The Zeta variant now includes ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, an air purifier with a PM2.5 filter, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
Grand Vitara CNG Technology & Safety
Both CNG trims now come with six airbags as standard. The Zeta trim also boasts a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, a Clarion sound system, a rearview camera, keyless entry and go, connected car features, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Grand Vitara CNG Powertrain & Mileage
The Grand Vitara CNG is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 89hp and 121.5Nm in CNG spec. It is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and claims an efficiency of 26.6km/kg. In petrol configuration, the same engine delivers 103hp and 137Nm of torque.
Grand Vitara CNG BootSpace
Unlike some competitors like Tata and Hyundai that use dual-CNG tank setups for better boot space management, the Grand Vitara uses a single large CNG tank which affects boot space. That being said, the bootspace on the standard variant is rated as 373-litres.
