Maruti Suzuki Fronx Achieves Top-Selling Car Status In India For February 2025
In February 2025, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx emerged as India's top-selling car, surpassing well-known models like the Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Creta, and Tata Nexon. This achievement underscores a significant milestone for Maruti Suzuki in India. Notably, seven out of the top 10 best-selling cars that month were from Maruti Suzuki. The SUV segment maintained its market dominance with five models in the top ten, followed by three hatchbacks, and one model each from the MPV and sedan categories.
The Fronx led the sales chart with 21,461 units sold in February 2025. The Maruti Suzuki WagonR followed closely in second place, selling 19,879 units. Hyundai Creta secured third place with 16,317 units sold. Just behind was the Maruti Suzuki Swift, which narrowly missed third place with 16,269 units sold.

The Maruti Suzuki Baleno took fifth place with 15,480 units sold, followed by the Maruti Suzuki Brezza in sixth place with 15,392 units sold. Tata Nexon claimed seventh position with 15,349 units sold.
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga secured eighth place by selling 14,868 units. In ninth place was the Maruti Suzuki Dzire with 14,694 units sold. Completing the top ten list was the Tata Punch, which sold 14,559 units. These figures highlight Maruti's strong performance and dominance in India's automotive market during February.
Maruti's success can be attributed to its wide range of vehicles that cater to diverse customer preferences.
