Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Prices Hiked By Up To Rs 15,000
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga remains a popular choice among Indian families due to its spacious design and ability to seat seven passengers comfortably. However, Maruti Suzuki has now increased the prices of the Ertiga, like those of other vehicles in its lineup, by up to Rs 15,000.
The price hike affects all variants of the Ertiga MPV, with the base LXi (O) variant seeing the biggest increase of Rs 15,000 to the ex-showroom price. The Ertiga LXI (O) variant is now priced at Rs 8.84 lakh. The prices of all other variants of the Ertiga have been hiked by Rs 10,000.

The VXI (O) variant of the Ertiga now costs Rs 9.93 lakh with the VXI (O) CNG trim level now costing Rs 10.88 lakh while the VXI AT trim level is priced at Rs 11.33 lakh. The ZXI lineup starts with ZXI (O) at Rs 11.03 lakh, while the ZXI (O) CNG costs Rs 11.98 lakh and the ZXI AT trim level is priced at Rs 12.43 lakh. The ZXI+ is priced at Rs 11.73 lakh while the ZXI+ AT is the most expensive Ertiga variant at Rs 13.13 lakh. (All prices mentioned are ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki had previously announced plans to raise prices for some models starting in February, and this increase in the Ertiga's price points is part of that plan. However, there are no changes to the standard kit offered with the Ertiga which means that unlike the recently updated Celerio hatchback it still does not offer 6 airbags as standard across all variants.

The Ertiga is available in both petrol and CNG versions, offering flexibility for consumers. It also features smart hybrid technology that Maruti Suzuki claims enhances its fuel efficiency. The petrol variant of the Ertiga delivers a mileage of up to 20.51 km per litre, while the CNG version offers an impressive 26.11 km per kg. These figures highlight the car's efficiency and are key factors in its continued popularity among buyers seeking economical options.
In summary, while Maruti Suzuki's recent price adjustments for the Ertiga may have surprised some customers, they align with industry trends and are not expected to affect sales significantly. The vehicle's spaciousness, seating capacity, and fuel efficiency continue to make it a preferred choice for families across India.
