Maruti Suzuki Introduces Dzire Tour S: All Details Here
Maruti Suzuki has introduced a refreshed taxi version of its well-known compact sedan, the Dzire. This new model, named the Tour S, is priced at Rs 6.79 lakh for the base variant. The CNG model is available at Rs 7.74 lakh, with both prices being ex-showroom.
The Dzire Tour S is powered by a 1.2L three-cylinder engine, similar to the current sedan model. This engine produces 80 hp and 112 Nm of torque in its petrol form. The CNG variant offers slightly less power, with 69 hp and 102 Nm of torque. Both versions come with a manual transmission.
Despite its compact design, the Tour S maintains an 80 kmph speed range, adhering to commercial vehicle standards for safety. Maruti Suzuki has also emphasised fuel efficiency in this model. The petrol version achieves a mileage of 24.69 kmpl, while the CNG variant provides 22.72 kilometers per kilogram, appealing to those looking to cut fuel expenses and reduce environmental impact.
The Dzire Tour S is designed to be practical and economical. It incorporates some features from the base LXi variant of the Maruti Dzire but omits certain luxury elements like alloy wheels, rear defogger, and automatic climate control to keep costs competitive.
Safety Features
Safety is a priority for Maruti Suzuki in the Tour S model. It includes essential safety features such as six airbags, brake assist, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a speed warning system, and reverse parking sensors. These features ensure that both passengers and drivers are well-protected during their travels.
