Maruti Suzuki Hikes Celerio Prices By Up To Rs 32,500 - All Variants Now Get 6 Airbags
Maruti Suzuki, the nation's largest carmaker has hiked the prices of the Celerio hatchback by up to Rs 32,500 depending on the variant. Prices for the 2025 Maruti Suzuki Celerio now range from Rs 5.64 lakh to Rs 7.67 Lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).
The other big change to the 2025 Maruti Suzuki Celerio other than the price hike comes in the form of a safety kit upgrade. The Celerio now comes fitted with 6 airbags as standard across all variants, instead of the two that were previously fitted to some versions of the hatchback.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio Variant-Wise Price Hike
| Variant | New Price (Rs) | Price Hike (Rs) |
|---|---|---|
| LXi | 5,64,000 | 27,500 |
| VXi MT | 5,99,000 | 16,000 |
| VXi AMT | 6,49,000 | 21,000 |
| VXi CNG MT | 6,89,000 | 16,000 |
| ZXi MT | 6,39,000 | 27,500 |
| ZXi+ MT | 6,87,000 | 27,500 |
| ZXi+ AMT | 7,37,000 | 32,500 |
The price of the base Celerio LXI variant has increased by Rs 27,500 to Rs 5.64 lakh. The prices for both petrol and CNG versions of the Celerio VXI have risen by Rs 16,000 each to Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 6.89 lakh respectively. The price of the VXI AMT variant level has risen by Rs 21,000 to Rs 6.49 lakh.

Prices for the Celerio ZXI and ZXI+ variants (manual) have risen by Rs 21,000 to Rs 6.39 lakh and 6.87 lakh respectively. Finally, the Maruti Suzuki Celerio ZXI+ AMT variant has seen its price tag go up by Rs 32,500 to Rs 7.37 lakh (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom).
Other than the added airbags, the Celerio remains unchanged. The hatchback still draws power from a 998cc, three-cylinder engine that produces 66bhp and 98Nm of peak torque when running on petrol and 56bhp and 82Nm when combusting CNG. The engine is offered with 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options.
Prices for the Maruti Suzuki Celerio have been increased by up to Rs 32,500. However, the price increase has been offset by the increase in the standard number of airbags fitted to the Celerio rising from 2 to 6, something we expect to see across other Maruti Suzuki vehicles in its Arena portfolio soon.
