In March 2025, Maruti Suzuki sold 9,867 units of the Alto K10, a notable increase from February's 8,541 units. This represents a 15.5% rise in sales within a month.
Additionally, the Alto K10 experienced a year-on-year growth of 6%, with 9,332 units sold in March 2024. This hatchback is not only budget-friendly but also well-equipped. It features keyless entry, steering-mounted controls, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The car also includes a 4-speaker music system and offers 214 liters of boot space.

Maruti Suzuki prioritises safety with the Alto K10 by including six airbags across all variants. Other safety features are reverse parking sensors, 3-point seatbelts for passengers, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), and ESP (Electronic Stability Program). Under the bonnet, the Alto K10 is powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine that produces 67 PS of power and 89 Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox, offering both performance and convenience. The car also comes in a CNG variant, which provides slightly lower output but promises impressive mileage.
The petrol version of the Alto K10 delivers a mileage of 24.90 kmpl, while the CNG variant claims up to 33.85 km/kg. This makes it an economical choice for budget-conscious buyers. The price range for the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 spans from INR 4.23 lakhs to INR 6.21 lakhs ex-showroom, appealing to a broad audience.
