December 2025 Car Launches In India: Maruti Suzuki eVitara, Kia Seltos, Tata & Mini Cooper
In the final month of 2025, four new cars are set to hit Indian roads. Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Kia, and Mini Cooper are heading for new launches in December 2025, starting with the Maruti Suzuki eVitara and the next-gen Kia Seltos. Check out the full list down below.
December 2025 Car Launches
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
The first car set to launch this month is the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara. This car will be launched on December 2, 2025. The e-Vitara will be the brand's first electric vehicle and will be produced at Maruti's Hansalpur plant in Gujarat.

This EV SUV has two battery options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh, with a maximum range of 500 km. Additionally, it features Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, 7 airbags, TPMS, and LED lights.
New Gen Kia Seltos
Kia will launch its next-generation Kia Seltos Compact SUV in India on December 10, 2025. This car will feature the brand's latest global design, characterised by a square front, flat bonnet, rectangular grille, and split LED headlamps.

The car is expected to come with a new hybrid technology, in addition to the regular petrol and diesel engine options. The interiors are also set to be totally revamped with a new dual-tone upholstery and seats.
Mini Cooper Convertible
BMW-owned Mini Cooper is all set to launch its S Convertible in India this month. This convertible is based on the Cooper S model and will feature the same 2.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine that produces 201 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. The booking for this S convertible is already open through the official website or in direct showrooms. The car is expected to launch at a price of around 50 lakhs (ex-showroom).

Tata Harrier and Safari Petrol Powertrains
Tata Motors' premium SUVs, the Harrier and the Safari, will be equipped with new petrol powertrains. These new petrol-powered Harrier and Safari SUVs are set to be launched on December 9, 2025. This new petrol engine has been developed under the 'Hyperion' programme.
The 1.5 4-cylinder NA petrol engine produces 105 bhp and 145 Nm of torque, while the more punchy 1.5 litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine produces 158 bhp and 255 Nm of torque. These engines will be mated with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions.
