Mahindra XUV700 Prices Slashed On Select Variants: All Details Here
Mahindra has taken a different approach by lowering the price of its XUV700 model. This move comes as other major car manufacturers like Maruti Suzuki, Kia, Tata Motors, and Hyundai are preparing to increase their vehicle prices from April 1. By reducing the cost of its popular SUV, Mahindra aims to differentiate itself in a competitive market.
Mahindra's decision to cut prices is focused on specific variants of the XUV700. The AX7L Petrol AT 7S, AX7L Diesel MT 7S, and AX7L Diesel AT 7S variants have seen a reduction of ₹75,000. Meanwhile, the AX7 Petrol AT 7S and AX7 Diesel AT 7S models have had their prices slashed by up to ₹45,000. Other variants remain unaffected by this change.

The price reduction strategy is aimed at boosting sales for the model. Moreover, Ebony Edition (Dark Edition) was recently launched, which is available only in the top-end trims, AX7 and AX7L. The company realised that the pricing of the special edition was close to that of the regular edition, prompting this price adjustment.
The Mahindra XUV700 Ebony Edition offers enhanced features and aesthetics compared to the standard version. It is anticipated to gain popularity among Indian consumers, similar to its predecessor. The special edition starts at ₹19.64 lakh in India.
The price cuts are limited to select variants of the XUV700 model. Mahindra has not altered the prices of other variants within this lineup. This strategic move is intended to attract more buyers without affecting other models.
