Mahindra XUV 7XO Teased With Segment-Leading 540-Degree Camera System
Mahindra is gearing up to launch the new XUV 7XO, with segment-leading futuristic technology and key upgrades. This seven-seater SUV is set to debut on January 5, 2026. The brand has been releasing a series of teasers, and one of the highlights reveals its first in-segment 540-degree camera system.
Mahindra XUV 7XO New 540 Degree camera system
Regular models typically have a 360-degree camera system to help the driver with a complete view of their surroundings. Mahindra has set a new benchmark with a new 540-degree camera system that will also display the underbody using multiple cameras. This enhanced system helps drivers avoid potholes and obstacles, protecting the underbody, bumpers, skid plates, and exhaust from damage.
Additionally, users will be able to view all four corners of the SUV using the 'four corner display mode', allowing them to navigate tight spaces more easily without worrying about scratches or dents.
The XUV 7XO will be Mahindra's most updated ICE model ever, as it is expected to borrow many features from its electric sibling. The SUV will get a new projector headlight design, updated DRLs, revised bonnet, new front grille, fresh alloy wheel designs, and redesigned rear taillights.

It is also expected to feature a triple panoramic screen setup, a refreshed cabin, Boss Mode seating, ventilated seats for both front and rear passengers, multi-zone climate control, and ambient lighting.
The XUV 7XO will continue to be powered by Mahindra's proven 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines paired with both manual and automatic gearbox options. The top variants are expected to offer All-Wheel Drive (AWD). Once launched, the XUV 7XO is expected to be one of the most futuristic and advanced 7-seater mid-size SUVs in India.
Mahindra is likely to price the XUV 7XO slightly higher than the outgoing XUV700, with prices expected to start around 15 lakh (ex-showroom) and the top variant around 25 lakh (ex-showroom). This new SUV will rival models like the Tata Safari, Jeep Meridian, and Hyundai Alcazar in the mid-size SUV segment
