Mahindra XUV 7XO Interior Teased With Triple Screens - 9S Goes ICE

Mahindra has released the first official interior teaser of the upcoming XUV 7XO, confirming a triple-screen dashboard layout ahead of the SUV's launch. The teaser also arrives as pre-launch bookings for the XUV 7XO have opened, signalling that the model is nearing its market debut.

The interior image shows three connected displays placed side by side across the dashboard. This includes a fully digital driver display, a central touchscreen infotainment system, and a dedicated screen for the front passenger. The layout closely mirrors the setup seen on Mahindra's newer electric SUVs, indicating a strong focus on in-car technology.

The dashboard design appears clean and horizontally oriented, with minimal physical buttons visible in the teaser. The triple-screen setup is expected to handle most vehicle functions, including infotainment, navigation, vehicle settings and passenger entertainment. Mahindra has not yet revealed the screen sizes or software details, but we expect a similar setup to the one seen on the recently launched XEV 9S.

Along with the screens, the teaser suggests a premium interior theme, with layered dashboard elements and soft-touch finishes. The steering wheel design and digital instrument cluster layout also appear similar to Mahindra's latest electric models, pointing to shared components and interface design.

Mahindra XUV 7XO Interior Teased

Mahindra has confirmed that pre-launch bookings for the XUV 7XO are now underway for a token amount of ₹21,000. Interested customers can reserve the SUV ahead of its launch in January 2026, when Variant-wise details and pricing are expected to be revealed, along with the delivery timeline.

The XUV 7XO is expected to replace the XUV700 in Mahindra's SUV line-up and will be positioned as the firm's new ICE flagship. The Mahindra XUV 7XO is expected to retain the current XUV7OO's 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines. Both powerplants will be paired with manual and automatic gearbox options.

The new Mahindra XUV 7XO will take on the likes of its own sibling, the Mahindra Scorpio N, along with the Hyundai Alcazar, the newly facelifted MG Hector Plus, which was updated today (15th December), along with its 5-seater sibling, the MG Hector and the recently reborn Tata Safari.
