Mahindra Scream Electric 2025 Expectations: XEV 9s Debut And BE06 Special Edition
Mahindra is gearing up to launch its first-ever seven-seater electric SUV, the XEV9s, at the much-anticipated Scream Electric Event in Bangalore from November 26 to 27. The two-day showcase will kick off with the debut of the BE06 Special Edition, followed by the grand unveiling of the XEV9s.
Mahindra Scream Electric Expectations
BE06 Special Edition
Mahindra's first car will be the BE06 special edition. This special edition could be a tribute to Mahindra's Formula E racing team and its achievements in the Pinnacle EV Championship. This is not the first time that the BE06 car has had a special edition.

Previously, Mahindra debuted a special 'Batman Edition' on the BE06, which was a huge success, and they are trying to replicate it with this Special Racing edition. It will likely carry the same specs, but with special colours, graphics, logos and interiors.
Mahindra XEV9s
Mahindra says this XEV 9s will be India's first electric car with three-row seating capacity. The company has already teased many of its features and interiors. This Electric SUV's design language will be different to the BE06 and the XEV9e.
It boasts vertical headlamps and L-shaped LED inspired by the XUV700. Additionally, it is equipped with flush door handles, dual-tone ORVMs with indicators, and Aero-styled alloy wheels.

It will be built on the same INGLO EV platform, and the powertrain is expected to be similar to the BE06 and the XEV 9e. There are two battery packs: 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The smaller battery can achieve a maximum range of 656 km, and the larger battery can achieve a maximum range of 542 km. As the XEV 9s will be a seven-seater car, the battery range may decrease. It is also expected to come with an AWD option.
We also expect additional features such as Level 2 ADAS, Ventilated and powered front seats, Premium Speakers with Dolby Audio system, a large boot area, a Triple-screen infotainment setup, and a 360-degree camera with both front and rear parking sensors.
This car will be the flagship EV car from Mahindra, so we expect a starting price of around 20 lakhs (ex-showroom). This car could challenge rivals like the Tata Harrier, MG ZS EV and the Hyundai Creta Electric.
