Mahindra XEV 9e Pack Two Vs Pack Three Select: Differences & Similarities Highlighted

The Mahindra XEV 9e, available in Pack Two and Pack Three Select versions, is priced at ₹24.90 lakh and ₹27.90 lakh respectively, ex-showroom. The price difference between these variants is ₹3 lakh. Both models are built on Mahindra's new INGLO platform, which features an electric skateboard design with wheels positioned at the corners and a battery pack integrated into the floorboard.

Deliveries for the Mahindra XEV 9e began in March 2025, following its launch in November 2024. Initially, only the top-end Pack Three variants were delivered, followed by the Pack Three Select option. Recently, Mahindra has started delivering the mid-spec Pack Two variant as well.

Battery Options and Performance

The INGLO platform supports two battery sizes: a 59 kWh unit and a larger 79 kWh unit. Interestingly, while the Pack Three Select comes only with the smaller battery, the Pack Two offers both options. The larger battery pack is priced at ₹27.25 lakh ex-showroom.

Both variants equipped with the 59 kWh battery claim a range of 542 km, while the larger battery extends this to 656 km. The smaller battery can fast charge from 20% to 80% in about 20 minutes using DC fast charging at up to 175 kW.

Power Output and Driving Modes

The Mahindra XEV 9e with the smaller battery generates a maximum output of 230 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, opting for the larger battery increases power to 282 bhp while maintaining the same torque level. This electric SUV remains rear-wheel drive and offers three driving modes: Range, Everyday, and Race. Additionally, it includes Boost mode and one-pedal drive mode.

The exterior of the XEV 9e Pack Two boasts LED DRLs with a signature lamp, sequential turn indicators, and a start-up lighting sequence. It also features a panoramic glass roof and rides on 19-inch alloy wheels. Practical elements include powered flush door handles, auto-folding outside mirrors with auto tilt on reverse, and a power tailgate with gesture control.

Inside, comfort is prioritised with leatherette seat upholstery and steering trim. The driver's seat is power-adjustable in six ways with manual lumbar support for added comfort. Front seats offer ventilation functions alongside dual-zone climate control for optimal cabin temperature.

Technology

The vehicle is equipped with advanced technology including a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset featuring 24GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity. A Harman Kardon audio system comprising sixteen speakers supports Dolby Atmos sound quality while wireless smartphone chargers serve both front-row passengers as well as those seated at rear positions.

For safety measures within XEV9e Pack Two variant Level-2 ADAS suite incorporates one radar module coupled alongside camera providing adaptive cruise control functionality along auto park assist feature availability too! Seven airbags ensure occupant protection whilst blind spot monitoring enhances driver awareness further aided by individual tyre pressure display via TPMS system integration!
