Mahindra Vision X Concept Teased Ahead Of August 15 Debut
Mahindra is set to unveil several concept models on August 15, including Vision.T, Vision.S, and Vision.SXT. Recently, the company teased the Vision.X model. This SUV appears smaller than the previously teased models, which had a rugged design suitable for off-roading. The Vision.X teaser completes the colour set showcased for the Freedom_NU platform.
The Freedom_NU platform will support future Mahindra models, offering internal combustion engines (ICE), electric vehicles (EV), and hybrid options. All four concept vehicles are expected to be based on this platform. Both the new platforms and final production versions will be manufactured at Mahindra's Chakan facility in Pune.
Concept Models and Platform Details
The Vision.T and Vision.SXT are believed to be advanced versions of the Thar.e and Global Pik Up concepts. Meanwhile, the Vision.S is anticipated as a fully electric Scorpio concept. The Vision.X might be a hybrid or electric variant of the XUV 3XO or a new addition to the XUV lineup.
The teaser for Vision.X has completed the set of colours shown for the Freedom_NU platform. Other colours like white, yellow, and orange were used in teasers for other concept models. This suggests that these new models will be based on this newly revealed platform by Mahindra.

Upcoming Models and Production Plans
Besides these concepts, Mahindra is preparing several other models for launch in India. These include an updated XUV700, Bolero, BE Rall-e, among others. These vehicles have been spotted testing on Indian roads and will feature upgrades over current versions.
