Mahindra Vision X Concept Teaser Reveals Design Elements Ahead Of August 15 Launch
Mahindra has teased its Vision X concept once again, offering a glimpse into what appears to be a significant addition to its XUV lineup. Scheduled for unveil on August 15, during the Independence Day event, the Vision X, along with three other concept SUVs and a new platform vision, signals an ambitious expansion of Mahindra's electric vehicle (EV) offerings.
The Vision X concept showcases a design that leans towards a premium and urban aesthetic, distinguishing itself from its predecessors, the Vision S and Vision SXT, known for their rugged appeal. This shift hints at Mahindra's strategy to diversify its portfolio to cater to a broader range of consumer preferences within the EV market.

This second teaser video for the Mahindra Vision X, which was released on the 18th of July, reveals more about the Vision X's design, including a side-view that highlights a sophisticated layered fascia with bumper-mounted headlamps, wheel-arch cladding, and what appear to be aerodynamically optimized alloy wheels. These details suggest a departure from the traditional SUV form towards a more stylized, possibly crossover, design.
There are rumours that the Vision X could be a precursor to the much-anticipated XEV 7e, the all-electric version of the XUV700 that will be positioned as a conventional SUV counterpart to the XEV 9e coupe-SUV. This supposition is bolstered by sightings of the XEV 7e undergoing tests, but confirmation will only happen at mahindra's launch event on Independence Day.
