The Veero CNG is built on Mahindra's Urban Prosper Platform (UPP), setting new standards in safety, capacity, and fuel efficiency for the light commercial vehicle segment. Additionally, it includes an air conditioner, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, power windows, and steering-mounted controls.

Mahindra Veero CNG Features

Designed for enhanced efficiency, the Veero CNG is powered by a CNG engine delivering 89.8bhp and 210 Nm of torque. This ensures improved acceleration and performance. It houses a large 150L CNG tank offering a mileage of 19.2 km/kg and a range of 480 km in pure CNG mode.

Safety is paramount in the Veero design, which uses high-tensile steel to meet AIS096 crash safety standards. It includes driver-side airbags, a reverse parking camera, and a False Start Avoidance System to enhance driver protection and visibility.

Mahindra Veero Variants

The Veero comes equipped with features like Engine Stop-Start, Power Mode, and driver fuel coaching systems that boost fuel efficiency while reducing costs. With a service interval of 20,000 km, it minimizes downtime and operational expenses, making it suitable for both intra-city and inter-city travel.

Mahindra holds a dominant position in the sub-3.5-ton light commercial vehicle market with a 51.2% share. The introduction of the Veero CNG strengthens its foothold in this growing segment in India, catering especially to e-commerce businesses.

The Veero offers a payload capacity of 1.4 tons with a cargo length of 3035 mm, making it versatile for various applications. The large cabin area enhances comfort for drivers with features like reclining seats and advanced infotainment options.

In addition to its CNG capabilities, the Veero includes a small 4.5L petrol tank for emergencies, extending its range beyond 500 km when needed. An electric version of the Veero LCV is also planned for future release following this successful launch.
