Mahindra's Thar Roxx has become a favourite among SUV enthusiasts in India. The company is enhancing this lifestyle vehicle by adding features at no extra cost. These updates are showcased in John Abraham's custom Thar Roxx, and here are a few highlights of the model.

Bollywood star John Abraham, known for his passion for automobiles, recently received a custom Thar Roxx from Mahindra. This vehicle, finished in Stealth Black, adds to his collection of cars and superbikes. John was also present at the Thar Roxx launch event in Cochin, Kerala.

John Abraham's custom Thar Roxx features exterior enhancements like a rear tail light grill and JA badges (John's initials) on both sides. Other than these changes,

Inside, these badges also appear on the headrests. The VIN plate is special too, reading 'MADE FOR JOHN ABRAHAM’. This personal touch adds exclusivity to the vehicle.

The interior boasts a Mocha Brown theme, recently introduced by Mahindra. The seat upholstery in John's unit is distinctively tailored to his liking. He seemed excited to drive this bespoke vehicle that aligns with his preferences and style.

New Features in Mahindra Thar Roxx

Since its debut in August 2024, the Thar Roxx has been a top choice among Indian SUVs. Initially well-equipped with premium features, Mahindra identified areas for improvement and addressed them without additional charges. A significant addition is the request sensor on door handles, complementing the push-button start for a seamless keyless experience.

Other enhancements include aero front windshield wipers designed to reduce noise compared to conventional ones. A sliding centre armrest for front passengers accommodates various body types comfortably. Aside from these updates, the Thar Roxx retains its original charm.

Engine Options & Performance

The Thar Roxx offers two engine choices: a 2.0L Turbo Petrol delivering up to 175 bhp and 380 Nm of torque or a 2.2L Turbo Diesel with up to 170 bhp and 370 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Notably, only diesel variants come with a 4WD transfer case.
