New GST Effect: Mahindra New Price & Price Reduction Details
Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has announced significant price reductions across its internal combustion engine (ICE) passenger vehicle portfolio, effective September 6, 2025. The company is passing on the benefits of the recent Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate reduction directly to customers, with price cuts ranging from Rs 1.01 lakh to Rs 1.56 lakh. Among the most affordable models, the popular Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo have both become cheaper by Rs 1.27 lakh, with new retail prices of Rs 9.81 lakh and Rs 9.96 lakh respectively. This brings added value to the rural and semi-urban markets where these models enjoy strong demand.

The newly launched Mahindra XUV 3XO also benefits from the GST-linked cut. The petrol variant now starts at Rs 7.99 lakh after a Rs 1.4 lakh reduction, while the diesel version receives the steepest cut in the lineup, dropping by Rs 1.56 lakh to a new price of Rs 9.99 lakh.
For off-road enthusiasts, the Mahindra Thar sees multiple adjustments. The Thar 2WD diesel variant is now priced at Rs 11.50 lakh after a Rs 1.35 lakh reduction, while another diesel version comes down by Rs 1.01 lakh to Rs 16.12 lakh. The recently introduced Thar Roxx also becomes more affordable, retailing at Rs 12.99 lakh after a Rs 1.33 lakh price cut.
