Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift Launch Sooner Than Expected
The Mahindra Scorpio N was launched in Mid 2022, and the model immediately gained traction in the market with 1,00,000 bookings within just 30 minutes of opening. Since then, the model sold well over 2,00,000 units across the country.
That said, though the Scorpio N is still doing well in the market, Mahindra is currently working on a facelifted version of the Scorpio N SUV to keep the model relevant and interesting.

Recently, spy shots of fully camouflaged Scorpio N has been doing rounds all over the internet, and as such, we expect the facelifted version of the Scorpio N to be launched in early 2026.
Expected Exterior Updates
The front fascia is expected to receive the bulk of the updates. Anticipated revisions include a new grille, sharper bumpers, reworked LED headlights, and a revised DRL signature. These tweaks are likely to give the Scorpio N a sportier yet familiar stance, preserving its trademark "Big Daddy" road presence.
Interior & Feature Upgrades
Inside, Mahindra is likely to focus on tech and comfort enhancements. The facelift could bring a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital TFT instrument cluster, and potentially a panoramic sunroof - a first for the Scorpio range.
There are also expectations of a switch from Sony to Harman Kardon audio systems, mirroring the update seen on the new XUV700. Enthusiasts also hope for ventilated second-row captain seats, ambient lighting, and an expanded ADAS suite - features currently exclusive to the top-spec Z8L trim.
Powertrain & Performance
Mechanically, the facelifted Scorpio N is expected to retain its existing powertrains. These include a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 200bhp and 370Nm of torque and a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine delivering 172bhp and 370Nm.
Both engines will continue to offer manual and automatic transmissions, along with 4WD options on select variants. While enthusiasts would love to see the 185 bhp / 450 Nm tune from the XUV700 diesel, Mahindra is likely to maintain the current configurations for now.
DriveSpark Thinks
The Mahindra Scorpio N facelift appears to be gearing up for an early 2026 launch. With subtle design tweaks, new features, and the same rugged mechanicals, it's poised to strengthen its dominance in India's full-size SUV segment.
