Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon Edition Launched In India: Prices Start At Rs 19.19 Lakh

The Scorpio N Carbon Edition has been introduced with a starting price of Rs 19.19 lakh. This new version is available exclusively with the Z8 and Z8L top models of Mahindra's off-roader, featuring an all-black design for both exterior and interior components. It comes in a seven-seat configuration and directly competes with the Tata Harrier Dark Edition.

The Carbon Edition can be added to the Z8 and Z8L variants for an extra Rs 20,000. This edition reduces chrome usage around the body, opting instead for blacked-out finishes on elements like door handles and window side mouldings. The 17-inch alloy wheels and roof rails also follow this dark theme, complementing the single Stealth Black paint offered.

Inside, the Carbon Edition continues its pitch-black theme with a blackened dashboard and leatherette seats. The roof liner and door trims are also darkened as part of this edition. Buyers will find the feature list unchanged from the standard model, including an 8-inch touchscreen, sunroof, multiple drive modes, dual-zone AC, 12 speakers, and six airbags.

The familiar engine options remain in place for the 2025 Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon Edition. It offers a 203hp, 2-litre turbo petrol engine and a 175hp, 2.2-litre diesel engine. Both engines are paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. However, four-wheel drive (4WD) is available only with the diesel powertrain.

The Scorpio N Carbon Edition is priced between Rs 19.19 lakh to Rs 28.89 lakh, with a Rs 20,000 premium over standard variants applicable to all Z8 and Z8L models. These prices include options for both petrol and diesel engines with manual or automatic transmissions.

Compared to its rival Tata Harrier's Dark Edition, which ranges from Rs 19.14 lakh to Rs 26.24 lakh for its top Fearless + trim, Mahindra's SUV is competitively priced at both ends while offering additional features like 4WD.

The Harrier's recently launched Stealth Edition is available only in the Fearless + trim and costs Rs 25,000 more than its Dark equivalent. This positions Mahindra's Carbon Edition as an attractive option for buyers seeking value along with enhanced features.
