Mahindra Scorpio N Update Teased: ADAS Tech Likely To Be Included
Mahindra is actively refreshing its SUV lineup, with updates expected for several models. Among these, the Scorpio N is set to receive enhancements soon. A teaser for this updated version has been released on Mahindra's social media platforms, though a specific launch date remains undisclosed. The focus of this update is anticipated to be on enhancing the features list.
Since its debut in 2022, the Mahindra Scorpio N has attracted significant attention from Indian consumers. It achieved a remarkable milestone by securing over 1 lakh bookings within just 30 minutes of opening its online booking window. Known as the 'Big Daddy' of SUVs, it enjoys a strong fan base due to its impressive size and road presence.

Mahindra Scorpio N ADAS Update?
The teaser hints at retaining the design elements while updating features. Buyers and automotive enthusiasts have certain expectations for this updated model. A key expectation is the inclusion of Level-2 ADAS with advanced autonomous capabilities. This feature is crucial for selling the Scorpio N in export markets like Australia, where Auto Emergency Braking (AEB) became mandatory in 2023.
To continue sales in Australia beyond mid-2025, Mahindra needs to incorporate ADAS features into the Scorpio N. Despite lacking AEB, Mahindra managed to sell the Scorpio N in Australia until now but must adapt to meet future requirements.
Other Anticipated Features
The upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N ADAS update might introduce additional features such as a panoramic sunroof and rear ventilated seats for 6-seater variants. A larger 10.2-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is also expected.
The powertrain options are likely to remain unchanged from the current model. These include a 2.0L 4-cylinder Turbo Petrol engine delivering up to 200bhp and 380Nm torque, along with a 2.2L 4-cylinder Turbo Diesel engine offering up to 172bhp and 400Nm torque. Both engines will continue with options for a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox and a 4X4 transfer case, depending on trim levels.
