Mahindra Marazzo Sales Decline Raises Concerns About Future In Indian Market
The Mahindra Marazzo, a family-oriented vehicle, has seen a dramatic drop in sales. In February 2025, only 17 units were sold, a stark contrast to the demand for family cars. This figure is particularly low when compared to the previous year, where only 51 units were sold, marking a 66% decline. This trend raises concerns about the Marazzo's future in the competitive Indian market.
Despite its robust features and competitive pricing, the Marazzo struggles to capture consumer interest. The base model starts at ₹10 lakh and goes up to ₹17 lakh for the top variant. It offers automatic climate control, a 10.6-inch infotainment system, and dual airbags for safety. However, these features have not translated into strong sales figures.

The Mahindra Marazzo is equipped with a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine. This engine delivers 120.96bhp of power and 300Nm of torque. The company claims that this MPV can achieve a mileage between 18 to 22 km/l. Despite these impressive specifications, the vehicle's market performance remains underwhelming.
Introduced in 2018, the Marazzo faces tough competition from rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Innova. These models dominate the MPV segment in India. The Marazzo's inability to match their sales figures highlights its struggle in this competitive landscape.

The decline in Marazzo's sales can be attributed to several factors. Changing consumer preferences and increased competition play significant roles.
