Mahindra Bolero Neo Facelift Variants Explained In Detail

Just a week after unveiling the new Thar, Mahindra has refreshed both the Bolero and the Bolero Neo SUVs. While the changes are mostly cosmetic and feature-focused, the updates bring the Neo in line with Mahindra's latest design and equipment standards.

Under the bonnet, the 2025 Bolero Neo continues to use the familiar 1.5-litre mHawk diesel engine that produces 100bhp and 260Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The SUV is available in 9 colour options, including new dual-tone finishes with a contrasting black roof.

Mahindra Bolero Neo Facelift

The refreshed Bolero Neo is offered in five variants - N4, N8, N10, N10(O) and N11 - each adding more comfort, technology, and styling upgrades over the one below. Here's a closer look at what each variant offers.

Bolero Neo N4

The base N4 variant keeps things simple but functional. It comes equipped with body-coloured bumpers, side cladding, and 15-inch steel wheels with a spare wheel cover. Inside, it gets Mocha Brown vinyl upholstery, tilt-adjustable steering, and front and rear power windows.

The N4 also offers Eco mode, engine start-stop (micro-hybrid) functionality, and a solid safety suite including dual airbags, ABS with EBD, corner braking control, reverse parking assist, and seatbelt reminders.

Bolero Neo N8

Stepping up to the N8 variant adds a touch of flair and convenience. It features wheel arch cladding, dual-tone ORVMs, and a side footstep for easier ingress. The interior gets Mocha Brown fabric upholstery, a steering garnish, and remote key entry.

Entertainment duties are handled by a music system with four speakers and steering-mounted controls, while the addition of a rear wiper and washer improves practicality.

Bolero Neo N10

The N10 variant brings in several premium touches. It sports chrome accents on the grille, static bending headlamps, LED DRLs, fog lamps, and 15-inch silver alloy wheels. The design is topped off with an integrated rear spoiler.

Inside, the N10 gets height-adjustable driver seat, front and rear armrests, a Type-C charging port, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with two tweeters. Features like cruise control, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and a reverse parking camera round off the package nicely.

Bolero Neo N10

The N10(O) variant builds on the N10 with a focus on capability. It introduces multi-terrain technology (MTT) for improved traction across varied surfaces, enhancing its go-anywhere nature. The cabin also gets an upgrade with Mocha Brown leatherette upholstery, giving it a more upmarket feel.

Bolero Neo N11

Sitting at the top of the range, the N11 variant adds subtle but premium enhancements. It rides on 16-inch dark metallic grey alloy wheels and comes with Lunar Grey leatherette upholstery, marking it as the most feature-rich and stylish version of the updated Bolero Neo.

DriveSpark Thinks

With this update, the 2025 Mahindra Bolero Neo continues to blend rugged SUV character with added comfort and technology. The variant lineup now caters to a wider spectrum of buyers - from those seeking a tough, no-frills utility vehicle to those wanting a more polished, feature-loaded compact SUV experience.
