How Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9e Referral Program Work: Huge Benefits For Customers!

Mahindra's electric SUVs, the BE 6 and XEV 9e, have become central to the company's ambitious electrification strategy. Earlier this year, the two models generated record bookings worth Rs 8,472 crore on the very first day when reservations opened in February.

In just 5 months since deliveries began, they have crossed the 20,000-unit sales milestone-an achievement that underlines their growing popularity among Indian buyers. To build on this momentum, Mahindra has introduced a limited-period referral program aimed at rewarding existing BE 6 and XEV 9e owners while further boosting sales.

Under this initiative, current owners will enjoy attractive benefits whenever their referrals translate into confirmed purchases. For the first successful referral, Mahindra is offering free general service-covering both parts and labour-for up to three years or 30,000 km, whichever comes first, along with a complimentary interior and exterior enrichment package.

Owners who manage a second successful referral will see their free service coverage extended to four years or 40,000 km and will also receive two enrichment packages.

Those achieving a third referral will secure free servicing for five years or 50,000 km and gain access to three enrichment packages. Mahindra has clarified that running repairs, unscheduled visits, and non-essential services will not be covered under this scheme.

The BE 6 and XEV 9e have been winning over customers with their sporty styling, advanced features, and comprehensive safety equipment. The excitement surrounding the range was evident when the BE 6 Batman Edition-a special variant limited to 999 units-sold out in just 135 seconds.

Mahindra has also started exporting these electric SUVs and is actively exploring opportunities in European markets, where government incentives and strong EV adoption trends present significant growth potential.

Both SUVs are powered by either a 59-kWh or 79-kWh battery pack. The smaller battery delivers 170 kW (231 PS) and 380 Nm of torque, offering a certified range of 557 km for the BE 6 and 542 km for the XEV 9e. The larger pack produces 210 kW (285 PS) while maintaining the same torque output, enabling the BE 6 to achieve a range of 683 km and the XEV 9e to reach 656 km.

Drivers can choose from multiple drive modes-Default, Range, Everyday, Race, and Snow-while benefiting from an advanced regenerative braking system designed to maximize efficiency.

Priced competitively at Rs 18.90 lakh for the BE 6 and Rs 21.90 lakh for the XEV 9e (ex-showroom), these models have already proven their appeal in India's growing EV segment.

DriveSpark Thinks

With the referral program adding an extra incentive for owners to bring in new customers, Mahindra is positioning itself strongly for sustained growth in the electric SUV market at home and abroad.
