Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition Production Increased To 999 Units After Overwhelming Response

Indian SUV specialist Mahindra has expanded the production run of the BE 6 Batman Edition, revealed on the 14th of August, from 300 units to 999. The decision follows an unexpected surge in demand after pre-bookings for the limited-run model were opened earlier today (August 21, 2025) at 5 pm.

Pre-bookings opened through Mahindra's website today. And all customers interested in the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition needed to pre-book the limited run SUV was log in, add the vehicle to their cart, verify their mobile number, and complete the KYC process to secure a place in line.

Official bookings for the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition (for all 999 units) will open at 11 AM on August 23. Customers who have pre-registered will be able to confirm their orders directly. Mahindra is charging customers interested in the BE 6 Batman Edition a booking amount of ₹21,000 to lock in their allocation. Deliveries of the BE 6 Batman Edition will begin on September 20, also known as International Batman Day.

The limited-run Batman Edition is based on the Mahindra BE 6 Pack Three variant. The special edition named after Gotham's Dark Knight is equipped with a 79 kWh LFP battery pack and a single electric motor that produces 282 hp and 380 Nm of torque. The BE 6 Pack Three offers an ARAI-certified range of 682 km on a full charge.

The BE6 Batman Edition's exterior sports a satin-black finish accented by gloss-black panels. Gold-finished suspension springs and brake callipers add contrast, while Batman insignias can be found on the bodywork.

Inside, the limited-run superhero-inspired SUV features a dual-tone black-and-gold interior, with ambient lighting inspired by Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight " trilogy. The infotainment system includes Batman-themed sounds and animations, and a numbered badge sits on the dashboard.

Priced at ₹27.79 lakh (ex-showroom), the BE 6b Batman Edition carries a premium of just under ₹90,000 over the standard BE 6 Pack Three variant.
