Maalik Actor Rajkummar Rao's Car Collection: Recent Purchase, First Premium Vehicle & More

Mercedes-Benz GLS
Rajkummar Rao's most recent addition to his elegant garage is the Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d. Purchased back in 2023, the Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d owned by Rajkummar Rao is a pre-facelift version.
This model is powered by a 3.0-litre inline-6 turbocharged diesel engine with 326bhp and 700Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a 9G-Tronic gearbox. According to reports, the Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d can accelerate to 100km/h from a standstill in just 6.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 238km/h.
At the time of purchase, the Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d is reportedly priced at Rs 1.19 crores (ex-showroom), making it Rajkummar Rao's most expensive vehicle in his garage.
Audi Q7
Rajkummar Rao also owns a first-generation Audi Q7. This vehicle was purchased back in 2014, shortly after he bagged the National Award for the movie Shahid.
This Audi Q7 is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged diesel engine with 235bhp and 550Nm of peak torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.
Skoda Octavia
Rajkummar Rao also owns a Skoda Octavia, which he has been spotted using numerous times in Mumbai. This model was reportedly purchased for Rs 26 lakh, and he uses this car for short runabouts in the city.
Powering the Skoda Octavia is a 2.0-litre inline-4 turbocharged diesel engine with 140bhp and 320Nm of torque. This model can be specified with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Maalik Movie Details
Rajkummar Rao returns to the big screen with 'Maalik', an action thriller directed by Pulkit, alongside Manushi Chhillar. Released on 11 July 2025, the film's advance bookings suggest a subdued start at the box office. Despite hopes for a strong opening, early ticket sales were disappointing.
Advance bookings for 'Maalik' began on Wednesday afternoon, aiming for robust initial sales. However, by Thursday evening, only about 4,000 tickets were sold in pre-sales. When bookings closed, just 6,500 tickets had been sold across the top three national cinema chains for its first day.
The industry anticipated 'Maalik' would sell between 10,000 and 12,000 tickets before its release. Unfortunately, this expectation was not met as sales remained lower than predicted. The film is now projected to open with collections ranging from Rs 1.5 crore to Rs 2.5 crore on its first day.
Compared to Rajkummar Rao's previous film 'Bhool Chuk Maaf', which sold around 30,000 tickets in advance bookings for its opening day in the same cinema chains, 'Maalik' has seen a significant drop in audience interest.
'Maalik' features Rajkummar Rao as a gangster in the lead role. The cast also includes Manushi Chhillar and Medha Shankr, along with Saurabh Shukla, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Huma Qureshi, and Anshumaan Pushkar.
That said, 'Maalik' faces tough competition from other releases. It shares its release date with 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan' and 'Superman', both expected to draw their own audiences. Additionally, films like 'Metro In Dino', 'Jurassic World: Rebirth', and 'F1: The Movie' continue to perform well in cinemas.
The film's future largely depends on audience reception post-release. Positive word-of-mouth could help it gain momentum over the weekend; otherwise, it might struggle to attract viewers.
