Luftgekühlt 11 Venue Announced In Historic Durham, NC Following Successful Air|Water Poland Event
The Luftgekühlt series is set to make its East Coast debut in Durham, North Carolina. This marks a significant milestone for the air-cooled Porsche event, which has previously been held on the West Coast. Tickets will soon be available through their official website. The American Tobacco Campus, a historic site in Durham, will host this event, offering a unique backdrop for showcasing classic Porsches.
Recently, the Luftgekühlt team celebrated a successful international venture with Air|Water Poland. Held at Warsaw's Stacja Railway Museum and Nocny Market, this event attracted over 4,500 visitors. Attendees enjoyed an immersive experience featuring more than 250 cars displayed among historic locomotives and art installations. The event spanned two days, starting with an evening gathering on Friday and continuing with more activities on Saturday.
The Air|Water Poland event was notable for its collaboration with the Porsche Museum. Cars from Stuttgart were showcased, including rare models like the 918 RSR study and the 1968 909 Bergspyder. Other highlights included privately-owned vehicles such as several 356 Speedsters and a unique 911 Dakar in Red 58 livery. This tribute honoured Sobiesław Zasada and Marek Wachowski's performance in the 1968 London to Sydney Marathon.
Porsche Polska played a significant role in Air|Water Poland by exhibiting customer vehicles and creating interactive zones.
