Lotus Introduces Emira V6 SE And Turbo Models With Performance Enhancements
The Emira V6 SE, a new addition to the Lotus lineup, is now available in the UK starting at £96,500. This model showcases technical upgrades across the Emira range, including improved transmission and cooling systems. Orders are open, with a showroom debut set for September 2025. Lotus has introduced several enhancements to the existing Emira models alongside the V6 SE launch. These improvements aim to boost both track performance and everyday driving comfort. The cooling system has been re-engineered for better efficiency, reducing weight while enhancing flow to vital components. Additionally, the air-conditioning system has been recalibrated for more stable interior temperatures.
The Emira V6 SE retains its powerful 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine, delivering 400 hp. It offers a choice between a six-speed manual gearbox with Limited Slip Differential or an optional automatic transmission. This setup allows the car to accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 4.3 seconds. The vehicle's handling is enhanced by optimised damper calibration and wheel alignment adjustments.
Distinctive features of the Emira V6 SE include Zinc Grey paint as standard, exclusive badges, and an extended Black Pack. It rides on 20-inch forged alloy wheels with red brake callipers and boasts a luxurious interior with alcantara finishes and sport pedals. Personalisation options abound with 15 exterior colours and seven interior themes available.
Lotus has recalibrated the Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) for faster shifts and smoother driver interaction. Safety features are comprehensive, including Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), and Fatigue Detection as standard. An optional Extended Co-Driver Pack adds further safety aids like Adaptive Cruise Control.
The Emira Turbo serves as the entry-level model in this lineup while maintaining Lotus's signature driving excitement. It shares its engine and gearbox with the Turbo SE model—an AMG-sourced 4-cylinder twin-scroll turbo engine paired with an eight-speed DCT gearbox—achieving a 0-62 mph time of 4.4 seconds.
