Lexus India Launches Smart Ownership Plan To Make ES, NX & RX Models More Accessible
Lexus India has rolled out a new ownership scheme called the Lexus Smart Ownership plan. Designed to make the brand's models more accessible, the Lexus Smart Ownership plan covers the ES 300h, NX 350h, and RX 500h, and it is being offered in partnership with Toyota Financial Services India.
Under the Lexus Smart Ownership plan, customers can finance up to 60 per cent of the vehicle's cost. The remaining value is secured as a Guaranteed Future Value, allowing buyers to lower monthly instalments, compared to traditional financing methods. This structure aims to reduce entry barriers for luxury car ownership.
The Lexus Smart Ownership includes flexible tenure options, ranging between 24 and 48 months. Customers can select a repayment schedule suited to their requirements. The plan also allows financing of the vehicle's extended warranty and service packages, providing buyers with an added degree of convenience.
At the end of the chosen tenure, participants can decide among three options. They may return the vehicle and exit the plan, trade it in for a new Lexus model, or pay the Guaranteed Future Value to take complete ownership of the car.
The ES 300h is Lexus India's entry-level sedan and it blends the firm's hybrid technology with the comfort of an executive luxury sedan. The NX 350h serves as a mid-size luxury SUV in the portfolio, while the RX 500h stands higher in the lineup as a performance-oriented hybrid SUV.
By tying the ownership plan to these specific models, Lexus is focusing on vehicles that attract steady demand in India's premium car market. Hybrids remain a key part of the brand's portfolio, offering customers an alternative to conventional petrol or diesel models.
Luxury automakers in India are increasingly introducing flexible financing structures. Such initiatives are designed to draw in younger buyers who may prefer manageable monthly outflows without compromising on premium ownership. Lexus joins this trend with its Smart Ownership plan.
