Galaxy Macau Unveils Largest Fleet Of Bespoke Flying Spurs For Luxury Travel
Bentley Motors has unveiled a new collaboration with The Galaxy Hotel in Macau, China. This partnership highlights the increasing demand for luxury chauffeur-driven services. The hotel, one of the largest Forbes double five-star properties globally, received nine bespoke Flying Spur Mulliner sedans. These handcrafted vehicles were officially handed over on 29 April, enhancing the hotel's reputation for offering exceptional transport and luxury experiences.
The Flying Spur Mulliner sedans are crafted by Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner. They feature a distinctive Pale Brodgar exterior paint and unique craftsmanship. Each vehicle is adorned with The Galaxy Hotel's emblem on its front doors. Custom puddle lamps further enhance the guest experience as they enter these luxurious cars.
The interior of these sedans showcases meticulous attention to detail. All seats come equipped with Wellness Seating, which includes Seat Auto Climate and Postural Adjust features. These systems ensure optimal body temperature and comfort by adjusting pressure on muscles during travel. Hand-stitched logos of The Galaxy Hotel adorn the seats, adding a touch of elegance.
Mulliner's expertise in automotive luxury is evident in these vehicles. The Flying Spur Mulliner combines bespoke craftsmanship with an Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain. This hybrid system allows for up to 47 miles (76 km) of pure electric travel, ideal for city driving and Zero Emission Zones. It offers a refined driving experience with significantly reduced CO2 emissions compared to previous models.
The collaboration between Bentley and The Galaxy Hotel reflects a growing trend among luxury hotels to offer premium chauffeur-driven services. Previously, Bentley partnered with The Peninsula London, providing Bentayga hybrids for their fleet. Following this success, The Peninsula Hong Kong added eight Bentayga EWB Azures to their collection.
Bentley's commitment to luxury and performance dates back to its founding by W.O. Bentley in 1919. Now owned by Volkswagen Group since 1998, Bentley continues to craft high-performance grand tourers from its base in Crewe, England. Their dedication to fine craftsmanship and engineering excellence remains unmatched in the automotive industry.
Commitment to Sustainability
Bentley is also focused on sustainability through its Beyond100+ strategy, aiming for an all-electric lineup by 2035. This initiative underscores their commitment to combining luxury mobility with sustainable practices using new technologies and materials.
The Galaxy Macau Hotel's acquisition of the largest fleet of Flying Spurs at one location underscores Bentley's appeal as a symbol of refined travel among luxury hotels worldwide.
