Lamborghini Temerario Launches With Impressive Performance Metrics At Estoril Event
The Lamborghini Temerario, a new V8 bi-turbo High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV), made its global debut at the Estoril race circuit in Portugal. Over 15 days, media, dealers, and owners tested the car's capabilities on the 4.36 km track. The event showcased the vehicle's dynamic qualities, including its Drift mode and launch control.
Equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine and three electric motors, the Temerario boasts a maximum power of 920 CV and 800 Nm torque. The combustion engine alone delivers up to 800 CV between 9,000 and 9,750 rpm. It is the first production super sports car to reach a maximum of 10,000 rpm.
The Temerario accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 343 km/h. Its hybrid powertrain offers 13 driving modes for various environments, enhancing its versatility from daily use to racetrack performance.
The car's design integrates a new hybrid powertrain that significantly increases aerodynamic load, especially at the rear. This results in a +103% increase in downforce compared to its predecessor, rising to +158% in the Alleggerita version.
The Alleggerita package reduces weight by over 25 kg through lightweight body and interior components. It also improves aerodynamic efficiency by +67%. A new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission offers faster shifts and reduces CO2 emissions by up to 50% in full electric mode.
Lamborghini Telemetry 2.0 allows drivers to relive their experiences with lap times and sector analysis. The app integrates with Apple Watch for heart rate monitoring during drives on over 150 race circuits worldwide.
Customisation Options
Guests could personalise their Temerario with over 400 body colours and liveries through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program. Upholstery options include fine leathers and ultralight Corsa-Tex fabric in Dinamica microfiber.
The spacious cabin features Sonus faber’s audio system with seven speakers powered by a 750 W amplifier. This setup delivers natural sound with frequencies ranging from thunderous lows to clear highs.
