Lamborghini Temerario GT3 Race Car Debuts At Goodwood Festival Of Speed With Hybrid Innovations

Automobili Lamborghini showcased its latest hybrid super sports models at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The event featured the debut of the Temerario GT3 racer, presented by Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann. This race version of the new Temerario super sports car will begin deliveries in 2026. The GT3, adorned in Italian Tricolore colours, follows the successful Huracán GT3, which won 96 championships.

The Goodwood hill climb saw a display of Lamborghini's hybrid models, including the V12 Revuelto and Urus SE PHEV. Winkelmann remarked on this milestone for Lamborghini's Cor Tauri electrification program. He stated, "Watching the now fully-hybridized Lamborghini production model range run up the hill at Goodwood for the first time is a defining moment." Each model boasts unique powertrains and enhanced driving dynamics.

The Lamborghini Lounge at the Festival of Speed hosted over 500 guests during the four-day event. Among the models displayed was a lightweight version of the Temerario Alleggerita. Its orange Arancio Xanto livery with carbon fibre accents highlighted its sporty character. The Revuelto, in light grey Grigio Acheso with green details, attracted attention as Lamborghini's first High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV).

A special Revuelto created by Lamborghini’s Ad Personam team featured matt Blu Uranus with shiny carbon details. Meanwhile, an Urus SE in grey Grigio Antares participated daily in the hill climb. This model represents one of Lamborghini's most versatile and successful vehicles to date.

Winkelmann expressed pride in meeting owners and enthusiasts at Goodwood, noting that "The UK is one of Lamborghini’s most significant markets." He added that launching the new GT3 race car at such an event was ideal for marking a new era in their international GT3 client racing program.

In addition to physical displays, Lamborghini unveiled both the Temerario GT3 and road car digitally on 11 July within Wilder World, a photorealistic open-world metaverse. This activation expands Fast ForWorld, Lamborghini’s digital platform, into a third-party metaverse. Both cars will be limited edition collectibles within Wilder World and Fast ForWorld vehicle library.

The hybrid V12 Revuelto boasts combined fuel consumption of 10.3 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 276 g/km under WLTP standards. Meanwhile, Urus SE offers combined fuel consumption of 2.08 l/100 km and CO2 emissions efficiency class B when fully charged.
