Lamborghini Polo Storico Celebrates Tenth Anniversary With Classic Cars In St. Moritz
The Lamborghini Polo Storico marked its tenth anniversary with a celebration in St. Moritz on 21 and 22 February. The event highlighted the brand's classic cars, drawing enthusiasts and collectors. A standout was the Diablo SE 30, showcased in a unique "Lambo Thirty" purple, prominently displayed at Balthazar Downtown's terrace overlooking Lake St. Moritz.
On the frozen lake, two historic Lamborghinis captivated attendees: the Countach "pace car" and a Miura SV. The Countach, known for its role as a safety car at the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix in 1981 and 1982, is undergoing Polo Storico certification. Meanwhile, the Miura SV, certified in 2018, is celebrated as Lamborghini’s first supercar.
Alessandro Farmeschi, After Sales Director at Automobili Lamborghini, expressed excitement about the event. "In St. Moritz, we kicked off a year of celebrations that will take us to some of the world's most exclusive locations, engaging our international community." He noted the significance of meeting customers in the Alps and reflecting on a decade of unique projects and global brand promotion.
The Concours d'Elegance saw public admiration for Lamborghini's historic vehicles. The Miura SV received the Hero Below Zero award based on audience votes. This recognition underscores the enduring appeal and prestige of Lamborghini’s classic models among car enthusiasts worldwide.
The exclusive dinner at Balthazar Downtown on 21 February set an elegant tone for the event. It gathered select Polo Storico customers and collectors for an intimate evening celebrating Lamborghini's heritage. The following day welcomed international journalists and guests to explore more about these iconic vehicles.
