Kia Vision Meta Turismo Concept EV Teased - Stinger Successor?
Kia has revealed teaser images of its next electric concept, the Kia Vision Meta Turismo, signalling a new design direction that may evolve into a successor for the discontinued Stinger coupe. The teaser for the concept were showcased through the company's digital channels, previewing a performance-oriented EV positioned to expand Kia's premium electric range.
The Kia Vision Meta Turismo adopts a coupe-SUV silhouette that departs from the classic fastback layout associated with the Stinger. The design presents steeply raked A- and C-pillars, a large glasshouse and wide, sculpted rear haunches. Aerodynamic elements, including vertical fins and integrated air channels, appear embedded into the body to optimise airflow at high speeds.
The teaser for the Kia Vision Meta Turismo also highlights a futuristic lighting setup. Slim LED strips sit above the front fenders, extending into sculpted edges that frame the nose of the vehicle. At the rear, narrow 3D-effect LED lamps stretch across the width, underscoring the concept's athletic stance. Exterior mirrors are absent, replaced with low-drag camera modules.
Kia has not released images of the interior, but the outline suggests a floating dashboard and a steering format that resembles a yoke. The cabin profile appears to indicate two individual rear seats, though production models (if it does reach taht stage) may revert to a more traditional bench layout seen in other Kia EVs.
Technical details remain undisclosed, but the Kia Vision Meta Turismo is expected to be built on the Korean firm's 800-volt EV platform that it shares with Hyundai. This supports high-speed charging and allows for performance-focused drivetrains, including rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive variants could produce well in excess of 600hp.
While Kia has not given any confirmation regarding production timelines, market positioning or official model naming beyond the Vision Meta Turismo concept label, the teaser campaign includes phrases such as "A new future is on the horizon" and "Our vision takes shape soon," suggesting a more detailed reveal is imminent.
