Next-Gen Kia Seltos Teased Ahead Of Dec 10 Reveal - A Styling Revolution Is Coming
Kia has released the first official teasers of the new-generation Seltos ahead of its global debut on 10 December 2025, giving us the first clear look at the major design changes coming to the C-Segment SUV.
The teasers for the new-gen Kia Seltos outline a comprehensive visual overhaul with updated exterior styling, revised lighting elements and refreshed interior components. The teaser images indicate that the upcoming Seltos adopts a more upright and squared-off silhouette.
The front section of the new Seltos shows a redesigned fascia with vertical LED daytime running lights, forming a new signature lighting pattern for the SUV. The grille area appears wider and more prominent than the current model, suggesting a shift toward a stronger, more block-like design language.
Other visible changes include revised bumper contours and a sharper side profile, brought out by a more pronounced shoulder line. At the rear, we can see new LED tail-lamps and a reworked tailgate.
These components appear significantly different in design compared to the outgoing model, indicating that the new generation brings a clear break from the existing styling template. The changes at the rear complement the vertical DRLs at the front, giving the SUV a more symmetrical lighting setup.
The interior of the new Kia Seltos has also been teased, pointing to a revised cabin layout. The dashboard is expected to feature new materials, updated surface textures and reprofiled panels. The changes suggest improved ergonomics and an overall cleaner look compared to the current Seltos. The redesign aligns with trends seen in Kia's global SUVs, where higher-quality cabin components and updated user interfaces have been progressively adopted.
Although Kia has not released powertrain details as part of the teasers, the underlying information from prior reports indicates that the new Seltos will continue with the familiar engine lineup. This includes the 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines that are currently available.
A strong-hybrid powertrain is also expected to be introduced globally with this generation of the Kia Seltos. Transmission choices are likely to include manual, iMT and automatic options, reflecting the brand's strategy of offering multiple drivetrain configurations across price points.
