Kia India Launches 7 Year Extended Warranty On Sonet, Syros, Seltos & Carens Clavis

Kia India has rolled out an extended warranty program for four of its popular internal combustion engine (ICE) models - the Seltos, Sonet, Syros, and Carens Clavis. This new initiative aims to offer customers long-term peace of mind and enhanced ownership experience.

The program allows both new and existing Kia owners to extend their vehicle warranty coverage from the standard 5 years to as much as 7 years, making Kia one of the few manufacturers in India to offer such an extensive protection plan.

Coverage Details & Eligibility

The extended warranty can be availed at any authorised Kia dealership across the country. Under this program, Kia continues to offer a 3-year standard warranty as part of the vehicle purchase. Customers who wish to extend coverage can opt for plans that safeguard their cars against verified mechanical or electrical failures.

These failures typically stem from manufacturing or material defects, and the extended coverage ensures that owners are protected from unexpected repair expenses well beyond the usual warranty period.

For existing Kia customers who already hold a 5-year extended warranty, the company is offering an attractive upgrade option. This upgrade extends the coverage to a total of 7 years under a 5+2-year plan. The cost for this upgrade begins at Rs 32,170, excluding taxes. On the other hand, new Kia buyers can directly opt for the complete 7-year extended warranty package, priced from Rs 47,249 (excluding taxes).
