Top 5 Things About The Kia EV6 Facelift: Specs, Features, Range & Other Key Details
The Kia EV6 facelift has been introduced in India, priced at Rs 65.9 lakh (ex-showroom). This updated model features a larger 84kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) battery, which is lighter and more energy-efficient than its predecessor. That being said, here are the top 5 things you need to know about the Kia EV6 facelift model.
Exterior
The exterior of the facelifted EV6 includes refreshed bumpers and Star Map headlights, similar to those on the Kia EV9 SUV. A thin LED light bar connects the headlights, enhancing its modern look. The design updates extend to the 19-inch alloy wheels and rear bumper. Despite these changes, the car's dimensions remain unchanged: 4,695mm in length, 1,890mm in width, 1,570mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,900mm.

Battery and Charging
The new NMC battery powers both front and rear motors, maintaining an all-wheel-drive system with a combined output of 325hp and 605Nm torque. It accelerates from 0-100kph in 5.3 seconds. The battery supports fast charging; a 350kW DC charger can charge it from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes. A slower 50kW DC charger takes about 73 minutes for the same charge.
Interior & Features
Inside, Kia has introduced a three-spoke steering wheel with a drive mode button and a fingerprint scanner for keyless start. The centre console now has a textured finish to reduce fingerprint marks. The dual curved panoramic screen remains, featuring two 12.3-inch displays for instrumentation and infotainment.
The interior also includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, a Meridian sound system with 14 speakers, vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities, along with over-the-air software updates.
Safety Tech
Safety features have been enhanced with ADAS Level 2 technology. This includes blind-spot collision avoidance, rear-cross traffic alert, forward collision avoidance, smart cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, lane keep assist, driver attention warning systems among others. Additionally, ABS, ESC, hill-hold assist are standard along with eight airbags.
