Kia EV3 Receives Five-Star Safety Rating From Euro NCAP For Outstanding Performance
The Kia EV3 has secured the top safety rating from Euro NCAP, Europe's leading independent safety testing body. This recognition follows rigorous evaluations, highlighting the vehicle's commitment to safety. The EV3, equipped with the DriveWise ADAS Pack as standard in the UK, achieved a five-star rating. This compact electric SUV was also named the 2025 World Car of the Year.
Euro NCAP's assessment covered four key areas where the EV3 excelled. It scored 83% for adult occupant protection and 84% for child occupant protection. The vehicle also achieved 78% for both vulnerable road users and safety assist categories. These scores reflect its comprehensive safety features and robust design.
The DriveWise ADAS Pack, standard on all UK models, combines cameras and radars to identify potential hazards. This system aids drivers in maintaining safe driving practices. Euro NCAP awarded maximum points to the EV3 in the side barrier test for adult protection, noting its excellent safeguarding of critical areas for young passengers.
The EV3's direct driver status monitoring system and advanced eCall system further enhance its safety credentials. In case of an accident, the eCall system promptly alerts emergency services. These features underscore Kia's dedication to passenger safety and innovative technology.

The car's high-strength Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) contributes significantly to its structural integrity.
